Jennifer Higdon wins 2010 Pulitzer Prize in Music

Philadelphia based composer Jennifer Higdon won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize in Music for her Violin Concerto.

The piece premiered on February 6, 2009, in Indianapolis, Indiana with Hilary Hahn as the soloist with the Indianapolis Symphony conducted by Mario Venzago.
